Stunning original mid century modern teak framed reclining lounge/armchair.
Designed in 1958 by Arnt Lande for Norwegian company Stokke Mobler. This is the “Combi Star” model and is beautifully designed piece.
A real statement piece and perfect for the scandi/mid century styled home.
It features a striking modernist frame in solid teak, with gentle curves and boomerang shaped arms. It can be reclined and set in place by a small lever to the right hand side.
It has been recently recovered in an oatmeal/light brown wool and the upholstery is in perfect condition.
The frame is in excellent original condition with only a few small marks from use. It is in very sturdy condition and is very comfortable with quite a firm cushion, but shaped well to support your lower back.
It measures:
38” tall, 31” deep (in upright position) 28.5” wide (across the arms), 15” height to seat and 20” seat depth.
