Superb Mid Century Danish 3 Piece Suite. Possibly Kurt Olsen but unable to identify further (Thanks Mike!) This fabulous three piece suite dates from the 1970s. The design is really nice with wide sweeping “boomerang” style solid Rosewood arms and frame, slender padded cushions upholstered in their original wool/tweed/Jute coverings. The woodwork is in excellent vintage condition overall. There are a couple of chips out of the back legs near the bottom of the legs, but these will coloured and stained to match and this is genuinely barely noticeable when in use. The fabric is in superb condition with no marks or discolouration. This really is a very comfortable suite, and oozes a simplistic elegance that would as easily fit into a Danish modern style setting as it would a Hollywood Regency or Art Deco decor. Please Note: No fire labels so this is being sold to be re-upholstered. The cushions are removable and interliners could also be made. The foam is in good condition.
