Large antique meat plate/platter dating from around 1850.


It was made by Turnbull who worked at Stepney Banks, Ouseburn, Newcastle Upon Tyne. the impressed mark reads, “TURNBULL – STEPNEY.” The blue printed crown and floral mark reads, “ALBION - G.R.T”

The pottery was open between 1845 and 1885


It measures 18” x 14.5”


Small chip from the rim as shown. Some other marks from use but displays well.
