Antique Pearlware Willow Pattern Meat Plate Davies Cockson And Wilson C1825.
It measures:
16.5” long, 12.75” wide and 1.75” deep
Rare antique willow pattern meat plate dating from around 1825 and manufactured by Davies, Cockson and Wilson of Stepney Banks in Newcastle Upon Tyne. They were in business between 1822 and 1833.
It’s in very good condition overall but does have some scratches and marks on the rear where it has been hung on the wall with a metal plate hanger. Otherwise a few light utensil marks and bits of grit/fingerprints which date from the time of manufacture. It’s in useable condition and free from and chips, cracks, crazing or repairs.
It measures 16 & 1/2” long, 12 & 3/4” wide and 1 & 3/4” tall. Circular impressed mark on reverse.
