Retro Bauhaus Style Tubular Steel Cantilever Chair In Tropical Pattern Velvet.
This beautiful lounge/dining chair came from the lounge of a local football club. (I have another 4 in stock awaiting restoration). It dates from the 1970s but is very much in the Art Deco/Bauhaus style and fits easily into a mid century modern/modernist style decor.
The tubular chromed steel has has been polished and is in excellent condition. It has a stunning cantilever style shape with a nice tapered shape.
The cushions and armrests have been stripped and re-padded. I have then added a fire retardant inter liner before recovering in a very bright tropical design velvet.
The chair is very comfortable with a wide fitting seat, comfortable arm rests and good support for the lower back.
It measures:
23.5” wide, 22” deep, 30” tall, 18” to seat and 24.5” to top of arms.
