Hand Coloured “Colln Am Rhein” Copper Engraving Print By Elias Heldenmuth Baeck Cologne.

Vintage hand coloured engraving (after Elias Baeck) of the city of Cologne. I’m guessing this was a limited run of 71 copies from the sticker on the rear. Most likely dating from the 1960s as it looks to be in too good condition to be from the 1700s

See info taken from Wikipedia below on the artist.

It measures: 28.5” wide and 13.5” tall.

Some light wear to the frame and a few watermark/tide marks on the internal picture mount.

All items are carefully packaged before shipping

“Elias Baeck (1679–1747) called "Heldenmuth", was a German painter and engraver from Augsburg.

Baeck worked for some time in Rome, then in Laybach, but finally returned to Augsburg, where he died in 1747. His chief works — both in painting and engraving — were portraits and landscapes. His engravings are sometimes signed "E.B.a.H.", standing for "Elias Baeck, alias Heldenmuth".[1]”
