Mid Century Danish Beech Stick Back Dining Chair By Farstrup Mobler.
This very stylish chair has been something of a labour of love. It was painted white (which was its original factory finish), but had been overpainted with lots more white gloss paint before I acquired it. It dates from the 1960s and was made by Farstrup in Denmark.
It is constructed of solid beech with a beech plywood seat.
It has been fully (painstakingly) hand sanded and refinished in OSMO. I love the shape of this and particularly like the angles of the under stretcher. It is very well constructed and designed.
I couple of very very small areas of paint residue remain in a couple of the crevices but these are genuinely minimal and can barely be noticed.
It measures:
Overall height 80cm, Height to seat 45cm, maximum width 45cm, overall depth 45cm
