Set Of 6x Danish Modern Kai Kristiansen Model 170 Chairs Schou Andersen Rosewood.
Beautiful set of six Danish dining chairs dating from the lates 1960s/early 1970s.
These were designed by the renowned Danish designer Kai Kristiansen and made by Schou Andersen of Denmark.
The chairs are very well made and comfortable too with wide, well padded seats. The back rest is shaped perfectly giving excellent support.
These are in their original finish to the wood. They are constructed of beech, but stained to match Danish Rosewood tables. There are a couple of very minor marks on 2 of the chairs, but these are genuinely minimal and barely noticeable. The chairs are all in very solid condition.
The chair cushions have been recovered in a lovely teal covered fabric.
Each chair measures (at widest points):
18.5” wide, 37.5” tall, 18” to seat and 21.5” overall depth.
