Stunning Losol Ware “Floretta” Art Nouveau Deco 9” Centre Bowl Poppies Design.
This beautifully designed ornamental centre or fruit bowl makes an eye catching centre piece for a table or atop a sideboard or dresser.
It was made by Keeling and Co under the “losol ware” banner and dates from around 1920. The style of the piece is typically Art Nouveau in style, yet is similar to pieces crossing over into the Art Deco period.
One thing that is for certain is the beautifully colourful design of different colour poppy flowers really does stand out against the gold of the heavily applied gilding. It really is a very nicely decorated piece.
The bowl is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.
It measures 9” in diameter and approx 3.75” tall.
